Planning Prospects acted on behalf of Gladman Developments Ltd providing expert planning evidence at an Inquiry regarding an appeal against the decision of Test Valley Borough Council to refuse outline planning permission for a residential development at Land East of Halterworth Lane, Romsey. The main issue of the appeal was that the proposal would be contrary to the development plan as a whole. However, material considerations including the Framework, led the Inspector to conclude that planning permission should be granted for development not in accordance with it. The appeal was allowed and planning permission for up to 270 dwellings was granted.
