Planning Prospects acted on behalf of Gladman Developments Ltd providing expert planning evidence at an Inquiry regarding an appeal against the decision of Stratford-on-Avon District Council to refuse planning permission for a residential development on land north of Evesham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon. The main issues of the appeal concerned the siting of the development outside the adopted Built-Up Boundary of Stratford and the harm it would cause to the character of the landscape and to the setting of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. The appeal was allowed and planning permission for up to 130 dwellings was granted.
